The AeroScout suite of products provides Enterprise Visibility Solutions using Wi-Fi wireless networks as an infrastructure. AeroScout solutions use standard wireless networks to accurately locate any asset, and utilise that location to deliver direct benefits, such as asset tracking, process automation, theft prevention and increased utilisation.

Aeroscout technology adds another application to an existing Wi-Fi infrastructure and provides the added benefit of tracking assets in real-time across an enterprise.

This technology enables customers to turn location data into efficient everyday decisions, effectively cutting costs.

The AeroScout system works through Wi-Fi based active RFID tags that emanate a signal at regular intervals. This signal is received by wireless access points without any infrastructure changes needed to the existing system, and is sent to a location processing engine. The engine uses signal strength to determine location coordinates, and sends this data to AeroScout MobileView. This is then transferred into usable data such as display maps, search enablers, alert creators and asset management.
